This is the right time for those who enjoy enjoying this post-apocalyptic thematic wonderland. Especially in late October and early November, the weather contributes to the correct perception of the exclusion zone, the leaves slowly fall, and Pripyat looks very sad and lonely. These conditions cause a feeling of sadness, emphasizing the misfortune of the catastrophe that occurred in Chernobyl, and, by the way, this is a unique time for photographers, painters and other creative people.
In winter, the entire Chernobyl exclusion zone is covered with snow. The whole area is quiet and calm, everything is covered with snow and especially Pripyat looks as if people did not leave it. When you get off the bus, go along the path, enjoy a sunny but cold day, everything looks like a typical Sunday morning during the USSR, when people spend the morning watching TV, preparing breakfast or slowly waking up .. We love the Zone in winter. It reminds us of our childhood when we played outside in the empty city streets. You hear the crackle of snow under your feet, you feel the sun that warms you, and even the level of radiation at this time of year in the exclusion zone is much lower due to snow.
Summer is the best, right? The weather is beautiful, the perfect time to get out of the city and relax. So what about a relaxing walk around the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone? The zone itself looks like a giant jungle, everything is overgrown with trees and shrubs. Around you are huge buildings that absorb bushes and trees. Exciting how nature took it all back. People like to travel to Chernobyl and explore the surroundings of Pripyat in the summer. In addition, there is one big advantage - the longest days, which means you can see more.
In the spring, nature slowly wakes up, and the entire Zone turns into one giant and beautiful natural park for exploring. The trees turn green and the leaves begin to grow, slowly creating a landscape of the abandoned city and villages. Wildlife wakes up from a long winter sleep, so this is the best chance to feed the fish or meet the wild horses of Przewalski or the legendary foxes.
